Accredited Energy Courses

Mintra is an OPITO-approved training provider with four online courses: MIST, IMIST, Authorised Gas Tester and Control of Work: Performing Authorities.

Mintra is an ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board) approved training provider. The approved MJI (Mechanical Joint Integrity) and SBT (Small Bore Tubing) online training courses are designed for existing workers to refresh their theoretical knowledge before taking the ECITB Technical Tests. The eLearning courses have been developed as an integral part of the ECITB/Step Change in Safety MJI/SBT model.

Mintra is accepted by the Helideck Certification Agency (HCA) for delivery of online-based Dangerous Goods by Air (DGBA) “awareness” training and also has twenty health, safety and environmental courses approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

OPITO Approved Courses

The Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation (OPITO) has been setting standards for the oil and gas industry since 1991 to help improve workforce safety and competence - over 350,000 people per year train to OPITO Standards across the globe. Mintra is an OPITO-approved training provider of the online courses: MIST, IMIST, Authorised Gas Tester and Control of Work: Performing Authorities.

ECITB Approved Courses

The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is the skills, standards and qualifications body for the development of the engineering construction workforce of Great Britain. An arms-length body of the UK Government, the ECITB reports to the Department for Education.

Incorrectly bolted flanges are one of the main causes of hydrocarbon releases, which can have a serious impact on the environment, operating costs and the safety of personnel. The Mintra ECITB-approved MJI (Mechanical Joint Integrity) and SBT (Small Bore Tubing) online training courses are designed for existing workers to refresh their theoretical knowledge before taking the ECITB Technical Tests. IOSH Approved Courses

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the world’s Chartered body for safety and health professionals. The IOSH brand stands for excellent products, high-quality standards and thought leadership in safety and health.

Mintra has 20 IOSH-approved health and safety courses in our library. IOSH approval means that the course content contains relevant health and safety
information, courses are pitched at the appropriate level and courses meet the highest standards for trainer competence and course quality. The IOSH logo demonstrates the highest standards and applies to both face-to-face and eLearning courses

Renewable Courses

Our suite of Renewables eLearning courses was created in reference to industry standards and close consultation with Energy companies and subject matter experts.
